Korean food in Korean Town- Jin Go Gae

Dear Jin Go Gae,

This is my third time visiting and not once have you failed me- Good quality of food, good portions. I always think of you when I crave authentic Korean food, even if you are an hour drive away from me!

Staff:
Your staff are not the most friendly type. I have seen customers being scolded at when the restaurant is busy. However, service has always been quick and efficient, and I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation on K-drama with one of your staff!

Food:
No doubt one of the BEST Korean restaurants in London. From the complimentary kimchi selection to the brewed barley tea, you definitely try hard to bring customers a taste of the real Korea. My all time favourite has to be the "육회 Yuk Whe" (raw beef and pear salad, see below), which is no longer available in most Korean restaurants in London due to new hygiene regulations!

Value:
For the same price that you pay in central London, you get double the portion in Jin Go Gae. This restaurant is definitely valuable considering the size and quality of food it offers.

You mix in a fresh egg yolk before mixing the the beef with fresh  pear. The pear juice and the beef is one of the best combination ever! I am so happy to finally be able to eat this!
