Dear Greenhouse,
You sure are one of the perfect places to make an occasion extra special. From food to service the experience felt like I was Royalty! I also love your Asian infusion ideas that penetrated through the taste of your lovely food.
Overall Rating:
The restaurant is situated in a quiet corner in Mayfair, Green Park. The entrance is filled with lovely gardening and statue which fits the name very well. Food was faultless, staff were no doubt professional and friendly. A two-starred Michelin well earned.
Staff:
Staff spoke fluent French and English. Very professional manner and gave us good suggestions on what to order.
Food:
High quality of fresh ingredients were used. I love how the head chef likes to add green tea to his food, giving a hint of Asian element. My favourites were definitely the fish and dessert- the fish was nothing like what I've had before; desserts were light yet packed with exciting texture and flavours. and if you decide to visit this place- MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE BANANA CAKE TAKE OUT BOX- DELISH!
Value:
This place is great for a special occasion. The quality of the food and the number of "complimentary" plates made the bill reasonable.

EDITOR's FAVOURITE: This is possibly the BEST fish dish I have ever tasted! The texture of the fish is very unique- it tastes like cake more than fish! Eat by combining all ingredients and sauce together will give your tastebuds a sensational surprise.
Green Chartreuse Soufflé/ Chestnut honey |
Short bread to accompany the souffle |
Lemon Meringue Matcha tea/ Apple/ Yuzu
EDITOR's FAVOURITE: with a hint of Asian inspired element, this green tea dessert was truly a pleasure. The balance of the lightness of greentea ice cream, the sweetness of the lemon meringue, and the slight sourness of the yuzu sauce gave this dessert a truly beautiful scent and taste.Red face after a glass of champagne!! |
