BELGO is one of my favourite chain restaurants. It is cheap and cheerful, without but not neglecting the flavour of its food. Many say their specialities- the mussel pots, are even better and much more valuable than in Belgium! Today I would like to share with you some of my favourite dishes of this restaurant! HIGHLY recommended!
The only down side of this place is that it can get very noisy at night, as the restaurant is split in half where it is a pub and serves booze only. It is also super hard to book a table on weekends, especially in Central London. I normally book the one in Chalk Farm, North London as there is always space!

SNOB
A rich lobster, Champagne and cream bisque.
EDITOR's FAVOURITE! Belgo specialises in mussels and you are sure to find one flavour that you want (For varieties see menu below). My favourite is the SNOB. A full kilo of Fresh mussels cooked in a rich lobster sauce- LOVE!

MADAM BLANCHE
Crepe Chantilly cream, Vanilla ice cream, dark chocolate sauce, cherries and dark chocolate curls
Perfect for chocolate lovers. To me the sauce was a little too rich and I thought there should be more ice cream.

MONSIEUR NOIR
Traditional Belgium Waffle with Chantilly cream, Double Blueberry ice cream, raspberries, white chocolate sauce and white chocolate curls
EDITOR's FAVOURITE! You may choose other flavour of ice cream but I must say I was VERY impressed with this blueberry flavour! Very refreshing and goes perfectly with the waffle!! yum yum yum!
