Mini Fact: Bibimbap a signature Korean dish, "mixed rice". It is served in a hot stone bowl (or not) with rice topped with sautéed and seasoned vegetables and chili pepper paste, soy sauce. A raw or fried egg and sliced meat (usually beef) are common additions. The ingredients are stirred together thoroughly just before eating.
The Restaurant
Quick, cheap, yummy, reasonably cosy seats- This place is very ideal if you are in a rush or just looking for a quick bite. This branch located in Charlotte street, within walking distance from Goodge St station, is relatively new. Another branch locates in Soho.
AFTER TASTING THOUGHTS: I thought this tasted quite good and the price was decent. Portion is enough to fill you up. If you are on a budget but still want something good. This is a good place to go to.
The restaurant also offers other toppings including mixed seafood, spicy pork, chili chicken etc.
AFTER TASTING THOUGHTS: I didn't order this and would not recommend it to anyone. Portion is really small and it is literally boiled egg noodles with stir-fried vegetables. You can easily obtain ingredients from your local supermarket and make your own- for half the price.
AFTER TASTING THOUGHTS: This is not the best I have had. If you are a fan of Pajeon, go ASSA instead. (Or any other Korean restaurants really)
AFTER TASTING THOUGHTS: Again, the quality of these starters were mediocre compared to all the other restanrants I have tried. They are eatable, but I have definitely had better. Having said that, if you like to enjoy a beer, these side dishes comes in very small portions that will compliment your drink quite well.
