WAKE UP! Time for Brunch- CookBook Cafe, Intercontinental Hotel

Wake up first thing in the morning to find that you are going to be:

  1. Eating all of this delicious food (all you can eat style)
  2. In a 5* hotel
  3. With unlimited champagne and soft drinks...

Life cannot get better than this.
I hope you are hungry, because what is about to come up is going to make you drool... *
So I have been missing quality buffet food that you can easily in Oriental countries like Hong Kong, but I have never really seen anything like it in London- Until I came across this place- The Cookbook Cafe. It is a buffet style brunch, serving 7 days a week.
We opted for the Sunday Menu, which included the special "Roast Kitchen" (at an extra cost of £10)

Let me show you a quick run through of all the fantastic food that this place has to offer:

The Salad Table
with Fresh fish (including seasoned smoked salmon and sashimi (Japanese styled raw fish), French and Spanish ham, Seasonal Vegetables (cooked and for salad), rice and couscous.

The Sunday Roast Kitchen
Choice of lamb or beef (or both), Home made Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes
Gravy, Mint sauce, horseradish and mustard

The Breakfast Counter
Freshly made pancakes, waffles bakery- choice of jam, chocolate sauce, honey and whipped cream
Traditional English Breakfast including omelet of your choice, Salmon Benedict, muffins

The Dessert Table
Selection of fine desserts including Raspberry creme brulee, Chocolate torte, Strawberry meringues, Coffee Profiteroles + Mocha cream, Lemon tart + orange curd, Tropical fruit salad

Unlimited Bellini's, soft drinks, Prosecco, tea and coffee and filtered tap water
A quick glance at the buffet menu...

I almost cannot fault this place and will most definitely come back for a visit.
