Chiltern Firehouse- "The kitchen is on fire"

Previously a fire station, Chiltern Firehouse has now transformed into a luxury dining area and hotel, and most importantly, a celebrity hot-spot. Stars like David Beckham and Lindsay Lohan have all visited in the past. Are you in luck to bump into them?
This hotel was previously a fire station before its transition.

Nice and spacious garden, perfect to enjoy a fresh cocktail in the summer.
The bar area inside the restaurant.
Reserved dining area. If you haven't go a reservation, you will be assigned to sit on a bar table, which is right in front of the open kitchen. (I personally prefer the bar as you can see the chefs cook your food on the spot)
The Open Kitchen
Pastry area
Mocktails designed by the bar tender RRP £7
(left) Papaya and passionfruit
(right) Strawberry Squeal

Crab Meat Donuts RRP £7
EDITOR RECOMMENDS: Freshly fried donuts with seasoned crab meat and herbs. A very original and tasty starter. Highly recommend! The price is very good too- only £7!
Lobster and Crabmeat Omlette RRP £24
Eggs are just about cooked which leaves the creamy, runny yolk. Lobsters were 100% fresh and packed with flavour even with minimal seasoning. Not filling whatsoever though. I thought the price was a little too high. Nonetheless, this is one of the favourites and you should definitely give it a try.

Smoked Eel RRP £14
EDITOR RECOMMENDS: OMG. Something you cannot miss if you are a fish fan. Chunky bits of fresh raw eel on a bed of perfectly cooked potato salad. Seasoned with pepper and mayo. Super refreshing and delicious, and worth every penny.

Roasted Pork Belly RRP £32
Tender, juicy, fresh, and packed with its original flavour. This piece of pork can be compared to a high quality piece of fillet steak, hence the price. The greens that accompany the dish have all been seasoned well before cooking.
PANCAKES!!!!! RRP £12
Served with blueberry jam, fresh berries, creme fraiche and maple syrup.

Best pancakes I have ever had! The mixture must of been done to perfection for the pancakes to come out soft and at just the right texture (without the doughy feeling). Topped with fresh fruits and fresh cream, served hot- YUMMEH.
