Who wouldn't want to eat this?! Love cakes and tea? You must go here!! Read on...
Finally got to try this super creative and yummy afternoon tea place located in Mayfair. Not until you try it would you know the reason they were rewarded a Michelin star and why it is so unique to other traditional afternoon tea you might have tried before.
Sketch brings a restaurant to another level of creative. With a contemporary art theme the restaurant is divided into four sections - The Gallery, The Lecture Room, The Glade and the Parlour
Afternoon Tea are mainly served in the Gallery and the Glade (Enchated woodland).
We were placed in the Gallery- seats are cushioned sofas which were beyong comfy!
Super cool toilets!! It has a spaceship theme and each individual cubical has a recording of the ship about to launch! (tbh it felt really weird but cool at the same time)
Food & Drink
Cake stand was a beautiful victorian style plate with floral prints. On the stand were cakes including macaroons, raspberry meringue and almond and berry tartlet, as well as scrumptious finger sandwiches!
Each cake and sandwich is decorated with style. And trust me, it tastes as good as it looks! (sorry about the lighting it was a bit dim in there and very romantic!)
Scones were fresh and warm and were perfectly wrapped in a cloth, with clotted cream plus two choices of jam, strawberry and Rasberry. Divine Heavens! So yummy...!
Egg and mayonnaise, quial egg, caviar sandwich

HUGE selection of fine tea
Each person has unlimited refills on one choice out of 15 kinds of tea.
My favourite was the Vanilla tea- A black tea scented with scrumptious, moistly ripe vanilla and a soft, raisin-sweet edge.
Reservations are available, but due to the high volume of bookings, it is recommended that you book a month in advance (especially for weekends) to avoid disappointment!!
I can’t wait to try out their restaurant next, it looks phenomenal. Will definitely be hop-sketching my way in the door again!
Enough said- BOOK NOW!
What's your top choice when it comes to High tea??
NB: Review above is a mere personal opinion.
