Most people are likely to compare this place with Burger & Lobster (Reivew coming soon), which I am sure many has already tried and hyped. I visited the Bloomsbury branch in Tottenham Court Road. It was easy to find and the interior was spacious and very comfotable. Unlikely Burger & Lobster, which is always very crowded and noisy, Steak & Lobster is much more quiet and suitable for a relaxed dinner.
Reservation is also available which will defintely give you a piece of mind. I was able to book a table for Saturday, on the day.
Starter
EDITOR's FAVOURITE!! Delicious and filled with ingredients! I could actually taste bits of lobster within the croquette.
Main
The menu only offers two main- steak / lobster, hence the name of the restaurant. Both dishes are served with Unlimited fries and salad (Which is always a plus!)
The Steak - Good quality and nicely cooked
A 10oz fine Rib-eye steak, and most importantly cooked to perfection, for £20 was an absolute steal. We tried the garlic, white wine and mushroom sauce and must say it was very creative yet delicious! I would recommend this place if you are looking for a good quality steak for a reasonable price.
NB: Sauces are served on the side for an extra £2.50 (peppercorn oR
Stilton & red wine oR garlic, white wine)Reservation is also available which will defintely give you a piece of mind. I was able to book a table for Saturday, on the day.

THE SAUCE is definitely worth the thumbs up- I personally hate corriander but this sauce just goes so well with my starter and I could hardly taste any corriander! A highly recommended dish!!

The lobster - Disappointment :(
Being a massive seafood fan I must say I wasn't overjoyed by the taste of my lobster. Despite being a reasonable value for a fresh lobster, to me it lacked flavour. It tasted a little bland, as if somebody just cut it in half and stuck in the grill. With a restaurant that has a limited menu, I thought this was desfinitely a let down.
