For a friend's birthday we went to try out this new Japanese and Peruvian fusion restaurant, located in the heart of Soho. Keep reading for more mouth watering review and recommendations!
The restaurant has a very modern and street look to it. Walls were decorated with modern art spray paintings. I think quite chic and cool. One down point is that there were no windows, and the air-con
was not very strong. Sitting next to the grill made our clothes stunk of charcoal and meat. It also got to a point where it got a little difficult to breath because of the smoke :(
The Food
The place offers a wide range of traditional Japanese sushi and salads as well as drinks.
We ordered the "Nikkei Tasting" sharing menu that cost £45 per head (+12.5% service charge).
Taco selection
Tuna spicy miso, snow crab yuzu, miso vegetables
Scallop tiraditoScallop sashimi, coriander, jalapeño, black salt, lemon and lime juice
Seafood ceviche
Prawn, scallop, sea bass, sweet potato, Peruvian corn, coriander, chive oil, citrus sauce
Maki Rolls & Salmon, tuna and yellowtail Sushi
Staff: (Skipped a few orders for drinks, overall nice but were not particularly attentive)
